![]() ![]() On at 12:34pm there was an attempted bank robbery at the US Bank located in the 2800 block of E. The suspect was charged with felony menacing, vehicular eluding, and other traffic charges. He was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Patrol officers from the Falcon Division responded to attempt to contact the suspect. It was determined to be the same vehicle from the Lodge at Black Forest.įive minutes later a detective located the suspect vehicle at a hotel near Razorback Road and N. The vehicle failed to yield and eluded the officer. The officer attempted to contact the vehicle. Approximately 30 minutes later a motorcycle officer observed a vehicle travelling 90MPH in opposing lanes of traffic on Research Parkway. The suspect left the area before officers could arrive. He fired a bolt through the window of an occupied office. ![]() As officers were responding the man went to his vehicle and retrieved a crossbow. The man had two machetes on his person and was entering employee only areas of the Club House. On at 10:07am officers from the Stetson Hills Division responded to a report of a man trespassing in the club house of the Lodge at Black Forest Apartments, 7700 Bear Run Pt. Detectives from the Colorado Springs Police Department's Violent Crimes Section were notified and responded to the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A short time later, the driver of the suspect vehicle fired multiple gunshots into the victim's vehicle striking one person in the victim's vehicle. Information obtained on scene was that a minor traffic crash occurred between the victim's vehicle and the suspect's vehicle. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a female occupant of the vehicle who was unconscious. ![]() Officers were informed that it appeared someone involved in the traffic crash sustained serious injuries. hours, Officers from the Sand Creek Division, who were on an unrelated traffic stop, were contacted by a citizen in reference to a traffic crash in the 800 block of North Academy Boulevard.
